Over-braced Profile Jib Arms

 

This is the most free-running type of jib arm and therefore the easiest to operate. It can improve production times considerably.

Features:

• SWL: 25 to 2000kg
• Arm length: up to 6m
• Lightweight and easy to use
• Electrical festoon cable supply – runs inside the arm track, before the load trolley.

 

Under-braced I-beam Jib Arms

This type of jib arm offers the lowest headroom solution and is perfect for situations where the lifting height is limited.

Features:

• SWL: 25 to 2000kg
• Arm length: up to 6m
• Electrical festoon cable supply – usually runs along the arm beam, before the load trolley. Alternatively it can be fed by a parallel track, which won’t limit the jib travel.

 Over-braced I-beam Jib Arms

This type of jib arm is the best solution to facilitate powered travel along the arm.

Features:

• SWL: 25 to 2000kg
• Arm length: up to 6m
• Electrical festoon cable supply – usually runs along the arm beam, before the load trolley. Alternatively it can be fed by a parallel track, which won’t limit the jib travel.

 

Articulated/Knuckle Jib Arms

This type of jib arm has a second pivot point along the arm and a fixed suspension point at the end. The second pivot enables the jib arm to lift and rotate within a 360° arc. The footprint of the arc is limited in some areas by the way the arm articulates around the central joint, but it does allow the arm to operate in a way that will enable it to miss obstacles that an ordinary jib might collide with.

• Arm length: up to 4m
• Electrical cable supply – usually runs along the arm
